The Coffee Board of India is an autonomous body, functioning under
the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The Board
serves as a friend, philosopher and guide of the coffee industry in
India. Set up under an Act of the Parliament of India in the year 1942,
the Board focuses on research, development, extension, quality
upgradation, market information, and the domestic and external promotion
of Coffees of India.
A Walk-in-interview will be conducted on 28/01/2014 for selecting one Junior Research Fellow under Biotechnology Plan Project-XII Plan Scheme. Suitable candidate possessing desired qualification will be selected for the post of JRF. The above post is purely temporary governed by Coffee Board’s rules.

- Title of the Project : Biotechnology Plan Project-XII Plan Scheme
- Tenure of the Project : Selected candidate will be appointed initially for 2 years. Based on the performance, his/her tenure may be extended till the end of the XII Plan period (31/03/2017)
- Desired Profile : M.Sc or M.Sc (AG) in Biotechnology or a related subject in Biological sciences from a reputed University.
- Fellowship : Rs. 12,000/- P.M (Consolidated) Plus 20% HRA. Rs. 14,000/- P.M (Consolidated) Plus 20% HRA on completion of two years research experience.
- Job description : The selected candidate has to assist the investigators in the research work connected with the project.
- Age Limit : Below 30 years as on the date of publication of the advertisement.
