Walk in Interview for Research Position at Calcutta University

The University of Calcutta was established by an Act of the Legislative Council (Act No II of 1857) of the then British India. A supplementary Act empowering the University to confer some additional degrees was passed in 1860.The Centre as well its M.Sc Program in Biotechnology gradually received worldwide recognition and accolade and with that came an encouraging flow of moral and financial support both from abroad and the Government of West Bengal
Interested eligible candidates are requested to appear for a walk-in-interview on 13-01-2014, 10:30 AM at Room 214, Dept. of Zoology, 35 Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata – 700019, for one post of Research Technician for project entitled “Induced differentiation ……. Therapy” funded by DBT, GOI (Sanc. No. BT/PR13331/MED/31/82/2009 dated 3-8-2011).
  • Duration of the project : 02 years
  • Desired Profile : M.Sc. in any stream of Life Science.
  • Remuneration : Rs. 8000/- consolidated.
  • Upper age limit : Not more than 30 years as on 01-06-2013.
Candidates are requested to submit two sets of application furnishing Bio-data in a plain paper with attested copies of testimonials at the time of walk-in-interview. No TA/DA shall be provided.
