Position Available: Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for position of a Junior Research Fellow in a DBT-ICMR funded project, ‘Design & development of inhibitors of human LEDGF/p75 and HIV-1 Interaction for efficient reduction of viral gene expression’ in the laboratory of Dr.N.K.Raghavendra.
NATURE OF WORK: Cloning, protein purification, in vitro assays and cell culture.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: M.Sc. in any area of Life Sciences with at least 60% aggregate marks and desirably with a valid UGC-CSIR/DBT/ICMR JRF qualification.
DURATION: The position is for three years. Initial appointment is for one year and extension is based on a satisfactory review of work done during previous year. The position will be co-terminus with end of the project.
EMOLUMENTS: Junior Research Fellow @ Rs. 16000+30% HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 18000+30% HRA for 3rd year (HRA is admissible only if the stay is outside the campus).
