Another diamond added to the crown. The prestigious Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science & Technology 2013 in Biological Sciences has been awarded to a very deserving person. He is none other than Dr Sathees Chukkurumbal Raghavan, Department of Biochemistry, IISc Bangalore.
dr. Raghavan completed his Ph.D. from the Banaras Hindu Univerity in the year 1999. He did his Post Doctoral Research from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA
during 1999-2006. The major areas of his Research interest include: Cancer Genetics, Genomic instability, DNA repair
and recombination.
