National Institute of Nutrition was established with a vision to enable food and nutrition security conducive to good health, growth & development and increase productivity through dedicated research, so as to achieve the national nutrition goals set by the government of India in the national nutrition policy.
Eligible candidates are invited to attend a WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on the following date at 9.30 A.M. sharp for the following position on the ad hoc research project entitled “Vitamin A metabolism: A neglected paradigm in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease” funded by ICMR. The essential qualification, experience, consolidated Fellowship and service tenure are as under:
- Post : JRF
- Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Biotechnology from any recognized University, Should have qualified in the CSIR/UGC or ICMR/PGI National Entrance Test (NET) CSIR/UGC NET and have a valid certificate.
- Age : Below 30 years. Relaxation of age is admissible to the SC/ ST/ OBC & PH candidates as per G.O.I. Rules
- Consolidated Pay : Rs.16,000/-p.m.(Fixed) + 30% HRA without any other allowances
- Tenure : One year, extendable depending upon performance of the candidate and funds position.
The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualification (from SSC onwards), experience and caste along with a photo and set of photo copies duly attested while attending the Walk-in-Interview.
GENERAL CONDITIONS : The conditions of employment will be the same as are for the project staff on contract basis. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at this Institute. The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept / reject any application without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.
