The Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology (CIPHET) was established on 29 December 1989 at the PAU Campus, Ludhiana, Punjab, India as a nodal institute to undertake lead researches in the area of the post-harvest engineering and technology appropriate to agricultural production catchment and agro-industries.
Applications are invited for two positions of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under AMAAS sub-project on "Optimization of parameters for utilization of paddy straw, kinnow pulp and pea pods for production ofrcellulases, ethanol and feed supplements", at the Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana (Punjab). The appointments will be purely temporary on contractual and co-terminus basis, following the prescribed procedure for a period of three months or till completion of the project

- Essential Qualification : MSc (Microbiology, Fermentation Technology/Food Microbiology /Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Food technology )
- Desirable : Experience in different aspects of ermentation, enzyme production, characterization and purification. Working knowledge of Computers
- Terms and Conditions :
- Emoluments for SRF (Senior Research Fellow) Rs. 16000/- (consolidated) + HRA as per ICAR rules.
- Age limit for SRF is 35 years form men and 40 years for women (relaxation in age in case of SC/ST/OBC as per Government norms).
- The appointment will be purely on a temporary under contractual and conterminous basis, following the prescribed procedure till completion of project. The appointments may be terminated at any time without notice or assigning any reasons thereof.
- No T AIDA will be paid for attending the interview.
- The applicants must bring with them original documents at the time of interview and No objection certificate from the employer in case he/she is employed elsewhere. Candidates must also bring the character and conduct certificate from the last school attended or last employer! present employer.
