Job Description :

• The position requires assisting in planning and effectively conducting experiments; recording and analyzing data.
• ]Support in developing new plant genetic screens.
• Provide support and be a part of a high capacity plant growth and phenotyping facility.
• Provide high-throughput gene cloning, vector construction support and assembly of plant transformation vectors in a timely manner.
• Compiles and analyze data, prepare reports and give presentations. Continuously updates current technology and knowledge to meet the new project needs.
• Follow record/book keeping rules as per DuPont Pioneer policy. Maintains lab and work safety as per DuPont Pioneer policy.

Skills Required :

• Must have good molecular biology skills including PCR, gene cloning and gene expression analysis.
• Experience in handling and managing plant work (in vitro and/or in greenhouses/control environment). Good analytical skills, Basic statistics skill, good data handling skills.
•  Good communication skills and team work capabilities.
• Preferred : Experience in standardization of plant growth assays. Experience with handling automation.
  Eligiblity : M.Sc Biology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Genetics/Molecular Biology/ Agriculture in (biotechnology) from recognized universities/Institute.
  Experience : 1-4 years
