in the Global “Top 20 employers” list for Bio-Pharmaceutical Sector of the ‘Science’
Magazine. It has made a significant leap from the 19th rank in 2012
to the 6th rank this year. According to the top Employers Survey,

Selection Procedure
for the Ranking:
Every year Science magazine
conducts an online-based survey of the Top Employers in the Biotechnology and
Pharmaceutical strata. Out of the total responses of 3,656, 36% work in the biotech
sector and 37% in pharmaceutical companies, 65% have 10 or more years work
experience. Of the total, 81% of respondents were based in North America, 10%
in Europe and 7% in the Asia-Pacific. As always, the respondents ranked “Innovative
Leader” as the most important criterion for choosing the best companies,
followed by “Treats employers with respect”, “Socially responsible”, “Loyal
employees”, “Clear Vision” and “Quality research”, respectively.
