Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the purely temporary position of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DBT project entitled "Tissue specific engineering of glucosinolate content and profiles in Indian oilseed mustard(Brasica Juncea) for higher nutritional value and uncompromised defense response"under the supervision of Dr. Naveen Chandra Bisht,Scientist,NIPGR.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (One Post)
Eligibility Criteria : Candidates having M.Sc/M.Tech degree in any discipline of Life Sciences are eligible to apply. The candidate having research experience in molecular biology,Biochemistry and Plant Genetic-Transformation Techniques is desirable. The candidate should have first class/Division in M.Sc/M.Tech from recognised University/Institution.
Emoluments : As per project sanction & DBT norms
Duration : The position is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project. The initial appointment will be for one year, which can be extended/curtailed on the basis of assessment of the candidate's performance and discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate. Reservation of post shall be as per Govt. of India norms.
