Walk-in- Interview for the selection of Senior Research Fellow and Research Associate will be held on 18.05.2013 (Saturday) at 11.00 AM at National Research Centre for Banana, Tiruchirapalli. The posts are purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. Eligible candidates may attend the Walk-in-Test / Interview at the above address.
Name of the Project 1 : DBT Funded Project – Development of Bio-Pesticide Formulation For Reducing Post Harvest Losses and For Achieving Export Quality and Increased Shelf Life of Banana Fruits.
Duration of the Project : Three years

Fellowship (as per DBT guidelines) : Rs.22000/- + HRA 20% per month
Essential Qualification : First class in M.Sc. or M.Phil or Ph.D in Agricultural Microbiology / Plant Pathology or General Microbiology or Biotechnology with specialization in Microbiology / Plant Pathology.
Desirable : Experience in Biotechnological works and computer skills
Name of the Project 2 : Phytophthora, Fusarium and Ralstonia Diseases of Horticultural and Field Crops.
Duration of the Project : Three years

General Terms and conditions :
a. Age Limit: 35 years for men and 40 years for women
b. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview
c. The decision of the Principal Investigator of the respective project would be final and binding in all aspects.
Candidates attending the Walk-in-Interview should neatly type the application in the format prescribed in MS-WORD –TIMES NEW ROMAN FONT – 12 SIZE and submit the same along with self attested photo, attested copies of certificates in support of educational qualifications, experience, publications and age proof as recorded in the matriculation certificate from the recognized board etc., at the time of attending the Walk-in-Interview. Original certificates should also be brought for verification at the time of Walk-in- Interview. Candidates already working should produce “No Objection Certificate “from the employer
