A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 28th May, 2013 at 02.30 P.M. in the Microbiology Seminar Room, Centenary Laboratory Building of Bose Institute, P- 1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700 054 for one position of Senior Research Fellow in a CSIR sponsored project entitled, "Understanding the origin(s), evolution and interaction(s) of different molecular mechanisms of chemotrophic Sulfur oxidation : Elucidating the metabolic strategies of early life", under the guidance of Dr. Wriddhiman Ghosh, Department of Microbiology. The project is tenable upto 31.12.2014. Details of qualification, fellowship, age etc. are as follows.

Essential Qualification : M.Sc. Degree in Microbiology / Botany with specialization in Microbiology, plus NET / GATE qualification with two years of research experience as Junior Research Fellow.
S.R.F-ship : @ Rs.18,000/- p.m. for NET-JRF qualified candidates and @ Rs.14,000/-p.m. for NET LS / GATE qualified candidates, plus admissible H.R.A. and Medical benefit for both,
Age : Below 30 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only, as per rule)
