OncoStem Diagnostics is a young and dynamic Mauritius incorporation founded in 2011 with primary research and development operations based in Bangalore, India. OncoStem is founded by Dr. Manjiri Bakre - a Cell Biology veteran with significant experience in cancer biology & cancer drug discovery from basic science as well as clinical perspectives in academia and multi-national companies. Our world class scientific team has published research articles in reputed journals such as Nature Medicine, Cancer Research, are recipients of awards such as Young Scientist offered by IUBMB.
OncoStem’s mission is to radically transform the cancer diagnosis and treatment planning to eliminate the ineffectiveness and generalizations in the current conventional diagnostic methods.
OncoStem’s innovative diagnostic platform will determine the ‘risk of recurrence’ for each individual patient based on extensive knowledge about signaling pathways operative in a cancer cells. We work with world class clinicians and hospitals across India and US towards developing novel cancer diagnostic tests.
We are expanding R&D operations in Bangalore and hence looking for talented individuals (M.Tech. / M Sc and/or Ph D in Biology) with interest and aptitude to do great science in India and contribute to ‘developing novel and useful diagnostic tests for relieving pain of cancer patients’.
