RA vacancy at CICR

Central Institute for Cotton Research abbr. CICR is central research institute established (in 1976) by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research to promote long term research efforts in cotton production and provide support and conduct applied research on cotton with the active involvement of State Universities. The research efforts of CICR fall under the All India Coordinated Cotton Improvement Project (AICCIP), initiated by the Council in 1967.
The eligible candidates are invited to appear for a Walk-in-interview for the temporary (contractual) posts of Research Associate / Senior Research Fellow / Computer Operator in different Ad-hoc-Scheme on the following discipline as detailed below:

  • Qualification : M.Sc. Agricultural Entomology. Master’s degree in the relevant Subject with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least 2 years of experience in the relevant subject or Ph. D. Degree in Agricultural Entomology
  • Pay : @Rs.23,000/-+ 20% HRA (For M.Sc) and @ 24,000/- + 20% HRA (For PhD)
  • Project Name : Crop Pest Surveillance and Advisory Project (CROPSAP) 2013-14 in Maharashtra

    • Desirable : Experience in Molecular biology techniques such as cloning, transformation and gene expression analysis.
