Apply for the post of JRF @ National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health

The institute had a humble beginning in 1954 in the form of a Contraceptive Testing Unit. Over the years, the Institute has made significant strides to develop newer contraceptives, both for the male and the female; generate information on the safety, efficacy and acceptability of available contraceptives in Indian population; and elucidate basic mechanisms underlying reproductive physiology. 
Applications are invited for the following vacancies under Non-Institutional ad-hoc projects. 
1. Title of the Project  :  "Analyzing the effect and mechanism of CRISP-3 upregulation during prostate tumorigenesis"
  • Name of the position : Junior Research Fellow
  • Eligibilty: First Class M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Biotechnology. Life Sciences or Microbiology preferably NET qualified
  • Desirable Experience: One year experience in Molecular Biology and Cell Biology
  • Age limit: Not exceeding 28 Years
  • Duration of project: Upto 19-10-2014
  • Stipend: Rs. 16000/- p.m.
  • 2. Title of the Project :  " Characterization of placental defects in embryos following paternal tamoxifen treatment " 
    • Name of the position : Junior Research Fellow
    • Eligibilty: First Class M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Biotechnology. Life Sciences or Microbiology preferably NET qualified
    • Desirable Experience: Two years’ experience in Molecular Biology and Reproductive Biology
    • Age limit: Not exceeding 28 Years
    • Duration of project: Upto 31-03-2014
    • Stipend: Rs. 16000/- p.m.
    How to apply:
    Candidates are required to walk-in on 15-11-2013 between 09:00 hrs. and 12:00 hrs. Candidates must bring along with them all the relevant documents in original and one set of attested photocopies of the same and one passport size recent colour photograph.
