The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research, is one of the oldest medical research bodies in the world.
The post is to be filled up on contractual basis at the ICMR Headquarters, New Delhi in the project “Research Methodology Cell”.
- Name of post : Research Assistant/Technical Assistant
- Qualification Essential : Three Years Bachelore Degree in required subject from a recognized University with DMLT/ Certificate of one Year duration or one Year experience in the lower scale.
Desirable : 1. Masters degree in Life Sciences. 2. Work experience in Govt. departments/recognized university in project management. 3. Persons having good computer and typing skills.
- Age : up to 30 Years ( relaxation as per Govt. of India rules.)
- Salary : Rs. 23,220/- P.M. (fixed)
- Nature of Duties : Candidate is required to deal with project management and undertake preparation of reports/documents and other work like drafting, noting, typing, data entry, organizing meeting etc.
The post is purely temporary. The tenure of the posts is one Year and may be extended based on performance and requirement of project. The appointment can be terminated with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason or termination of the project. The incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project. No benefit of provident fund, HRA, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. will be considered. Age relaxation is for SC/ST/OBC candidate as per Govt. rules. Age is also relaxable for meritorious, well qualified and experienced candidates who have worked in Govt./Autonomous setup. No TA/DA will be given to attend the walk-in personal discussion.
