A temporary post of Research Associate to be filled by Walk in Interview at NBAIM

NBAIM stands for National Bureau of Agriculturally Important Microorganisms. It was established through a project sponsored by agricultural Research and Education and Ministry of Agriculture. The foundation year of NBAIM is 2001. The main aim of NBAIM is to improve the productivity of agriculture by taking care of agriculturally important microorganisms (AIMs).
Following temporary post of Research Associate (One) will be filled up by walk-in- interview for the following project funded by NAIP (ICAR) at NBAIM, Mau. All the eligible and desirous candidates, fulfilling the requirements should appear before the Selection Committee with their biodata for interview on 28.10.2013 at 10.00 AM at NBAIM, Mau, UP.

  • Stipend : Rs. 23,000.00 + HRA for M.Sc. and Rs. 24,000.00 + HRA per month (consolidated) for Ph. D. degree holders
  • Essential Qualification : Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Microbiology / Bioinformatics OR M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Bioinformatics OR Master in Computer Application (MCA) with two years of experience
  • Desirables : Working experience in microbial research / software designing / Data warehousing / Biological database management
Term and Conditions : Maximum age limit is 40 years for RA (relaxation in age as per GOI/ ICAR norms);The services of the appointed candidate will be terminated automatically after the expiry of the project i.e. 31st Mar, 2014 or completion of period of appointment indicated in the offer, whichever is earlier. The candidate will have no legal right, whatsoever, for further absorption/re-employment in concerned project/NBAIM/ICAR; Candidates must produce all the original certificates at the time of interview; SC/ST/PH candidates will be given preference as per the GOI rules; No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview; Canvassing in any form will be considered as disqualification.
