Applications are invited for one position of JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW / SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW for a period of 3 years in the SERB sponsored project "Effect of anthropogenic activities on water quality, genetic diversity and composition of freshwater murrel fishes in Tamilnadu - Mitochondrial DNA approach". The appointment is purely on merit basis and temporary for the project period.

- Essential qualification : M.Sc., in any Branch of Life Sciences. For SRF, the candidates should have minimum two years of post M.Sc., research experience.
- Desirable qualification : CSIR, ICAR. ICMR JRFs and NET/GATE qualified candidates. Candidates with experience in aquaculture and fish genetics will be given preference.
- Emoluments : JRF @ Rs. 12,000/- + 20% HRA p.m SRF @ Rs. 14,000/- + 20% HRA p.m
